Gherkins

The gherkin is an annual herbaceous plant of the family of Cucurbitaceae, cultivated for its fruits. The term also indicates its fruits, harvested before maturity and consumed mainly as spice.

Cucumis sativus.

Fresh gerkins, diluted vinegar, salt, spices.
